Production Notes:

These sounds were recorded by taking a stack of approx 10 chips, and dropping them cascade-style a few inches onto a thick board covered with layers of felt about 1/2" thick. The sound is similar to what you'll hear if you drop them from one hand to another. Recording was done by close-micing the sounds with a single small diaphram condenser microphone (a Neuman KM184) and recording at 24bits/96KHz. The recordings were then normalized and exported as 16bit 44.1KHz .wav files. You should get the best results reviewing these sounds by using a high quality stereo or headphones.
