Whatever you do, add up the shipping cost with the cost of the chips to formulate your actual cost. 500 chips weighs quite a bit when they're shipped and the price of gas is not going down any time soon (or ever.)

If anyone has some for sale or knows a good resource for them please let me know.
Nevada Jacks has them on clearance at $60 for a 500 chip set, but the shipping is $25. Not entirely out of line given that the UPS ground charges for cross country shipping is about $18 for a 500 chip set.

Actually, I e-mailed NJ about those being Nexgen's. They told me that they were NOT Nexgens. Apparently just a cheap knock-off. And yes I have a sample of one and don't like it at all. It's REALLY plasticy(is that a word).

Are you sure? That's pretty shady of NJ if those aren't NexGens since they snagged the photos off of the 5star web site.
I saw that post, but I'd be worried about being able to remove all the old labels. Also the price is somewhat comporable to what I'd be paying for new nexges, although it is a deal for somone not looking to do their own custom labels, it's a nice looking set and worth the $.
