Hi everyone.
My neighbor has decided to take the plunge.
(i'm a BAAAD influence.)
He wants to fill his 500 count dice chip case with the real deal.
He already bought a rack of red Caesars Tahoe NCV chips from me because his wife loved the edgespots and colors.....

So.

We're looking for a complete set for tourneys. If we are going to use the reds he already has, I think we need 200 T25's and 140-160 T100's and 40-60 T500's to fill the 500 count case. I am also open to going deeper with the T100's cause I love that denom.


I have a few candidates lined up from trolling the M2M, but the mixed set look isn't very inviting right now.

I have yet to talk about budgets with him, but I don't think it will be an issue. Hopefully it won't and we can go to THE CASINO!!!!!

Anyway, send me a PM if you have something that might work with this. Or if you have readily available suggestions.

PNY is probably going to be the easiest and most reasonable set. He'll have a choice of 2 different styles for each denom, and you can actually find the 500s in those quantities.

The other option would be something like the grand casino hotstamped solids, but they wouldn't go too well with the spotted reds.

I would recommend more 100s and less 25s. 100s will be the workhorse after the blinds go up.

You might want to check out some of the "Double Down Saloon" chips that Jim at The Chip Room has right now. I've actually purchased 2 sets now and am VERY happy with them! They're a little dirty and a bit broken in, but if he's okay with that, they're a good deal. (Of course they can be cleaned, and they shuffle beautifully!) Only problem though is that there are no $500 chips... Nothing a little "tribute" label couldn't fix though!

the friends are still deciding. Haven't heard back yet.
budget seems to be $1/chip max, which doesn't help, but I understand.
Dice chips to Paulsons is a steep climb.

If it helps to sway your friend to buy dajebriza's Ambassador Plazas, I would be willing to buy 1-50 of the $500s (whatever he doesn't need) to complete my set.

I also would be willing to buy 25 x $25s (he really doesn't need that many $25s, nudge ).
