I’d like to buy a real EPT poker chip. I have searched the web, but didn’t find a place where I can buy one.

Maybe someday at ebay when somebody at the EPT smuggled on out of the event. Maybe that's why you can sometimes get a real WSOP chip.
But I guess the chances are slim to nine.

Yes, I think you are right. I have checked ebay the last three month and there was not even one auction for a chipco EPT chip.

But maybe there is a bigger chance to get a chip with cancellation marks which looks similar to the one in the picture.
