He had all of those Mirage Springs chips for sale a yr ago or so when I had 1700 of them. I feel like I did pretty well on mine and they took several months to sell. They are nice and they will sell for a lot of money, but not Mofo type of money.

Chips: 69 | | | Re: Wanted - Mirage Springs Chips Well, you know that the $100's alone sell for about $5 each, the $25's are pretty non-existent, and there aren't really any quantities of the other denoms available either. It's not like I'm getting rich selling these, especially considering the premium I paid to put a set like this together not to mention all the time and effort involved. I don't think $3 a chip is so out there, especially since you rarely see any playable sets offered at all and in Mint Condition. Generally, I know what's going on with prices and availability for a lot of whats out there for as I'm on CT and ebay probably more than anyone here.
I owned and sold Vineyards, PNY's, Wyndhams, Dodge City, etc. along with most of the chips you see out in the market today and personally I feel that all of those pale in comparison to the Mirage Springs chips.
The sets I have for sale are definitely not for everyone. Just like Noel and other sellers who have chips that are not readily available everywhere or even on ebay, you get what you pay for. Well, I'm in no rush or need to sell. If they do, they do but to say that "I clearly do not want to sell" is pretty presumptuous and inaccurate... Anyway, if I do happen to sell, I'll do what I always do... just find something more expensive and hopefully something even better as the cycle goes... Quote:

I worked a deal to buy (100) of mine for $325 I believe, and then bought another rack for $350 months later....Yes, they are very hard to come by....maybe I got lucky in my scores, but TonyPap had a rack on ebay for a few weeks, if not longer, that never sold at his $350-$400 asking price and I ended up scooping them off ebay.
Agreed though, these are quite possibly the best chips I've ever handled personally, but I've never seen them for sale or sold for $5 a piece. |

not a set you can buy and try to make a quick profit on, but definitely worth the price if it's the set you want to hold on to and/or use. production was very low, so finding any playable set is very hard, and building one is even harder.
i have been offered > $3/ chip for mine, and kept them.
just my 2 cents - sorry for the [continued] thread-jack.
