My poker league in Chicagoland is interested in buying a custom table with folding legs for our league. I have built one, but I don't have the time to help the others right now and no one else seems interested in building.

We are looking for a standard oval (perhaps slightly smaller than a standard 4x 8 without a dealer cutout, Padded rails, suited speed cloth, oversized drink holders (either in rail or racetrack, racetrack not required and almost discouraged, but this group is drinkers so drink holders are a must), folding legs.

They were looking at tables for over $400 and I told them I'd ask around to see if I can find a better deal, hopefully from someone in Chicago so we can pick it up.

If anyone can help us out, let me know.

Lat year I bought one at Costco for $139.00 it is a very nice table. I do not know if they still sell them. This store is in Schaumburg.

For some reason this is a nice table. I saw some other tables this one was much better it came with a black cover and handles, you can carry it anywhare. It fits 8-9 people maybe it was a one time deal. The bad thing I left it in Chicago. Not playing in San Diego!

There is quite a bit of overlap between this site and Scott's. Plus you can get a pretty good idea of what is available, and what someone has built by searching there.

I'm in the Chicago burbs, and I was planning on starting another table soon, but probably not soon enough for your crew.

Good Luck, and do me a favor, don't go w/ folding legs. I've seen so many tables built that are just beautiful; then you look at the legs underneath and it really takes something away. There are other options that will still make the table portable. Hell, Ikea has the type that screw on and off, and they are $5/each.
