After a lot of good advice and picking up a huge variety of samples, I've decided the set of chips I really want is Desert Sands, so I'm doing the PSO promotion to get a set of 500. In the meantime, though, I really want a set so I can host homegames, and I really like the look of these chips, so I want to pick them up to use until I get my set of Sands. These are the chips I'm talking about:

The ebay seller pokerstores sells the same chips with an even uglier label now, though, so I'm wondering if anyone got a set of these and upgraded. I'm looking for a set of 500, which pokerstores sells for $25, but for a CT'er I can obviously pay more. I don't really have anything to trade except a few samples. Let me know if you have these chips! Thanks.

What stakes and sites are your doing at PSO? From the time I started PSO it only took me about 2-3 weeks to clear the 2 needed promos to get my first 500 DS.

I would say wait it out and if you must have a temporary set, dice are practically being given away at walmart and the likes. But I still can't see getting a chipset that you know in advance will only be temporary.

Only playing NL25- the minimum stakes to clear the promotion. By temporary I don't mean I'll be getting rid of them after I get Sands, I'll probably use them just as often. I really only want to bust out the Sands when I know there's no danger of them getting beer,etc. all over them. Seems like a good idea to have a relatively inexpensive set for more spontaneous games. I also really like the look of these chips.

I would just buy a dice set...you can get them at ****'s or whatever for real cheap and you can't hurt them..I don't think these chips are anyways near the value of what they ask for them..just IMO

Don't know how many you want but I have a set of 1000 of these that I'm trying to unload and would love to sell them to a CT'er. Don't want much for them but the are HEAVY so shipping's going to cost a bit. Oh and another thing... The sticker design is slightly differnt but the chip material and manufacturer is identical. I'll send pm with more info.

I have 2000 of these chips one set of 1000 is brand new still shrink wrapped the other set They sound pretty good considering they are ebay chips and they and I think they stack quite well
I am willing to sell them off in sets of 500 if 2000 or a 1000 chip break down is too many
