| | | FOUND: Mohegan Sun $3 'Turtle' drop/rake chip
I'm looking for this chip from Mohegan Sun in Connecticut to complete my $5 and under house set (I know it's not a house chip, but still). I'll take either insert version. Will ask over at thechipboard as needed, but thought I'd start here first.

Strangely enough, I found this old WTB/WTT post of mine in doing a Google search for a place to buy the chip. So I guess I'll try it again here, and mosey over to chipboard to see if I have any luck there too... |

This had to have been from the poker room, since I've been going there for years and have never seen one like this. Just there a couple of weeks ago in fact. The only ones I've seen with a turtle is the $100 chip.
Now, the news is that the poker room there will be reopening within about a year so you may be able to get one then if they saved the chips.

Hey Rose, I managed to find a cache of these chips! I've got a couple of dozen of them, how many would you like? The inserts are the same on the 2 chips in that picture, did you mean inlay perhaps? That picture actually shows both sides of the chip, its not 2 chips.

I'll post the images in a minute, after I send them to my HPT gallery.
But, there are actually two separate versions of the Turtle, based on the inserts: looking at it from the "text" side, CG01348 has green-over-purple (and it's the one that I have); CG03707 has purple-over-green. Check your chips carefully; if you have a CG03707, I'll buy it from you (if you're not in the mood to keep it). |
