I know you said you don't want Paulsons, I'm thinking it's because of the price, so what's your budget? For a 1/2 no limit game, I'm thinking security should be an issue. There can be quit a bit of money in play at a full table. |

Chips: 331 | | | Re: WTB cash game chip set You should talk with Jim at The Chiproom and see what he has left of his St. Jo casino chips. They are Paulson TH&C chips. Best deal at 50 cents a chip. Here is a link to one of his offers: http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/thechi...ted-offer.html |

The breakdown isn't EXACTLY what you're looking for, but you get
100 x $0.50 (pink)
200 x $1 (white)
300 x $5 (red)
(each time... do this twice for 1200 chips)
and you can pick up 100 x $25 from him for $40 US (although they tend to be cracked from the hotstamping process). These are REAL casino-used Paulson chips (from a Missouri steam-boat) and are some of the cheapest real clay Paulson chips you can get (and are rare enough that security shouldn't be a problem).
If you want exactly a certain number and you don't need denominations printed on them, another option is Paulson Cherry casino chips. Wilson has a sale on these right now. They go for about 65 cents per chip. They're a little bit easier to come by, but if you pick slightly non-standard colours (they come in nearly a continuum of colour possibilities), then security could be ensured. See this thread: http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/wilson...y-blowout.html
For example, instead of white you could get peach or grey or mocha...; instead of red, get blaze orange... or get red AND orange, and that way you could change what you use for $5 from night to night (so no one knows until they show up). |

Chips: 331 | | | Re: WTB cash game chip set Don't be afraid of the "cracked" or "damaged" chips Jim sells. I have 750 of them and just placed an order for 150 more. They are in mint condition (other than the hairline cracks) and have perfectly sharp edges. Can't beat it. |

Chips: 4,299 | | | Re: WTB cash game chip set I would look into these as an option, real Chipco Casino chips, the $1 are $50 per rack of 100 including the rack. $5 are $60 per 100 or $75 I think for New mint chips, also $25 chips are available but I don't know the price. Also if you get 1000+ he will give you 10% off. Not a bad deal
