Im pretty sure dice are the pinacle of the home gaming world. First of all, they sound superb splashing into the pot. Second, they are the OFFICIAL casino weight. Third, they are super unique. Noone really has them.
Sorry, couldnt resist. Im not really a nexgen fan, but those might work. If I were you, I would get some ceramics from NJ's or something. If you push your budget, you'll be happier in the end. (that is until you get hooked on this site and start purchasing a set for every day of the week.)

the link did not work for me.
what are the price on those?
You are probably looking for a 300-400pc at most for 6-7 players. For $150, you are any real clay (aka compression molded) chips are probably out of reach unless you want only solid colors as they go for around .50ea. Ceramics (NJ Desert Sands and such) are probably as high up the chip food chain as you can go and even that would probably run you a bit more depending on the type and such.
5stardeal.com Soprano's are good chips,
sidepot.com neophtyes are good chips,
5stardeal faux clay dice chips are good,
nexgens are slightly above dice chips in my book but are easily customizable which is a big plus.
