Chips: 6,040 | | | WTB/WTT for WSOP ceramic replicas samples I am trying to get a good feel for the actual chip colors, so I was hoping to pick up one of each chip available from these color options (excluding the 5 and 100,000 i would imagine) Is it best to get the chipco versions as far as the colors go?
I have chips for trade, or I can paypal you. PM if you can help.

Chips: 406 | | | Re: WTB/WTT for WSOP ceramic replicas samples I wouldnt part with my WSOP's, but to the naked eye, those colors appear spot on, although I can not comment on the 2006 color adds you have (the new 5K, 25K and 100K). |

I have color samples from Matsui, so if I can get actual chips in my hand, I can match them alot easier.
Those mockups are just me matching the colors as close to the actual chip as possible, not to the Matsui colors.

While I understand your idea of getting color information from previous wsop copies, I do not recommend it. I have Chipco wsop replicas as well as a set of actual Bud Jones wsop chips (25, 100, 500 and 1000). The inherent nature of ceramic printing does not allow for an accurate reproduction and the colors are very different. In fact, it is for that reason that I want to buy the Matsui wsop chips.
If you are interested in having me review the Matsui samples, I am happy to do so. |

If you are interested in having me review the Matsui samples, I am happy to do so. | I don't have actual samples. Jinny sent me a color puzzle. It consists of pie shape pieces of plastic that you can mix and match to test color combinations.
There are some wierd things going on with their colors. For example, the Dayglo Orange color does not look orange at all! In fact, it looks like the color that will best fit the pink on the $500 chip. Anyway, shoot me an email, I would love to get your input joshuastringer AT gmail DOT com.
thanks button!
