Hey guys,

I've been lurking on this forum for some time now, trying to educate myself on the high end chips. I'm ready to buy my first NICE set and have approval from the wife to do just that!

I need a set of about 650 Paulson or some defunct casino chips. Even if you are not willing to sell your set, can you recommend a vendor that won't rip me off and give me some reasonable pricing (maybe a CT member discount)?

Can't get any better quality than these IMHO. All authentic casino chips, most of them MINT, unused, etc.

These are Paulson Pharaohs

Here is the break down i have.
$25 * 240
$100 * 280
$500 *110
$1000 *40


670 chips total .

I have used these about 5 times for my 30 man tourney.

My starting stacks are:
8: $25
8: $100
3: $500

I use the $1000's and extra $500/$100's for color ups.

If you have less people you can start with bigger stacks if you like.

Rugger, maybe someone already helped you via PM..

It will come down to the game, cash and/or tourny, and the number of people you intend to host with your poker chips. how many chips you start with, rebuys/addons, bounty, etc. to determine how many chips you need. denom or not will be key.

if you want denom chips, KY's set is nice for a quick buy. with thought out numbers. there is a lot to say about someone who can buy nice chips and STOP - LOL this is MY set.... LMAO watch out, because there are a lot of chips to buy.

i need to start a thread like this to complete a set.

if you want cheaper paulsons, you could consider paulson starbursts.
i've found starbursts for +.55 but you need to know what you're buying.

I appreciate the starburst suggestion but Ihave grown partial to the edge spots. Hopefully I can work out a deal soon.
