I think some use Carta Mundi too. |

You can buy all the Aristocrats you can carry for a dollar a deck, but the Kems are never sold. And I have asked every single dealer. I don't know what they do with them if they discard them, but I suspect they just destroy the deck if it becomes damaged or marked. |

I have used these same style green and brown colored backs for home games. I have noticed that when we use both decks to speed up the game, it is easy to mix up the decks with themselves. The green and brown are close in color. If you are not paying attention, a couple hole cards could get scooped into the other deck. Usually this when the lighting is not optimal (and when the players are not optimal either!!!).
Card rooms don't have this problem because the dealer has only one deck out at a time. |

I think those cards at Crown are paper (plastic coated). Look on the net and order yourself some Kems or Copags.
You will find these are 10 times better than the casino ones anyway. I am currenty using 4 colour Copags and would never go back to the casino style cards. |

There are much better cards out there anyway. Dal Negro, Modiano, Fournier, Copag, Carta Mundi, just to name a few. |

You want the ones on the right "green brown casino" and "select green brown". Those would be the same type as you have in the casino and they are a bit thicker. But as jambine mentioned, there's a lot of even nicer cards out there for less money. Fournier and Carta Mundi are fantastic and very reasonably priced. www.tridentcards.com carries a number of these as well as the others mentioned.
