You can't advertise that you want to sell your chips in this forum. You can post what chips you have that you are interested in trading, but cannot openly list them for sale. You can also post that you would like to BUY them. If people have the chips available for sale, it's not their post that says they are for sale, it's a reply to yours. |

Want to SELL, that's what m2m is for specifically. |

I've never had a M2M Sales thread, but my "chip" count is significantly (well, about 4%) lower than my "posts" count. I've never "purchased" anything at the store (tangible or chatroom upgrade items). The only reason I can think of is the number of WTB/WTT threads I've started. |

Simple answer.

I've heard that, put simply, you're supposed to get 3 chips for starting a thread and 1 chip for a post. But that would mean that you should always have at least as many chips as posts, unless you spend them (either at the store or in M2M)... so what is the actual formula? |

It was changed here a long time ago. Look in the site discussion forum and there's a thread about it there. If we tell you though...

if we reply to a WTB ad saying that we have something they want - aren't we essentially posting a sell ad? What restrictions are there to replying to a WTB ad? Can we list price for the item we have that they are interested in without getting charged "chips" for it? Just need some clarification. |
