OK, I got surething on my kids laptop and we messed with it for 4 hours...
Get about 1/2 the labels on a sheet to line up.
I AM DONE!
There is no way I am going to do this and there is no way i'll get my chips labelled for the months tourney.

Who here does labels and how much for:
750 chips
1500 chips
2000 chips

The reason for the differences is I am pretty much broke and these rank by importance.
Eventually I will have them all done, unless the max is an affordable price (to me) and i'll do them all now.
I can get them done at a local place where my son works for $1 a sheet, that's me supplying, and I am seeing prices online varying from 1.50 to 3.00 a sheet... Isn't that kinda high?
I don't know, that's why I am asking for prices (bids).

Obviously I won't have them by Thurday, but the sooner the better.

Check with Jason (CinOs3), Lynbark (Lynbark_Designs), or the other Jason (Hog_Wild), they print labels regularly and pretty reasonable prices (they supply the labels.) Unless the place where your son works is somewhat versed in printing these labels, you're liable to run into the same thing that you're encountering with your own printer.

If your printer is an inkjet printer, it's probably compounding the alignment issues that you're experiencing.

If you have the artwork and the labels your cheapest option is to get em done where your son works.

These would be my prices:

750 Chips (1500 Labels)= (Paper Labels $37.50) (Poly Vinyl Labels $60)
1500 Chips (3000 labels)=(Paper Labels $75) (Poly Vinyl Labels $120)
2000 Chips (4000 labels)=(Paper Labels $100) (Poly Vinyl Labels $160)
Plus $4.05 for Priority mail shipping

He will be able to do them today and is lining them up now...
I think they use Illustrator and PDF files to print.
THe cost will be $50 for the 100 sheets!
Woohoo...
Now, let's hope he can line em up correctly...LOL!!!

I'm really not laughing anymore...
All week and it still can't get lined up right...
They did get like 20 jobs that had to be done so this was put on hold, but...
I can't complain too much as it's kinda a deal from his boss to let him do the work himself and learn as well.
He told him how and is giving him time to work on it, but is not really helping him enough.


Oh well, no labeled chips for Saturdays game unless he figures it out Friday...
Maybe by next months game...LOL!!!

I wish I had the cash to lay out to have Jason do it, but I have too many other commitments that have a higher priority...

You might want to have your son review Jason's (CinOs3) article on label printing in the Custom Poker Chips section, http://chiptalk.net/forum/custom-pok...ighlight=label. While it is primarily focused on a Surething template, it might give him some tips with the alignment and getting everything squared up without having to go through a bunch of label stock.
