Cash game chips

Hey gang, I am interested in purchasing some cash game chips, and I'm looking for some feedback. I just love this site.
I was looking at the $1 Wynn chips, I like those, the feel and the fact that they're real. I needed to match them with some 25 cent chips and possibly 50 cent. What do you think would compliment them?
Also, I considered the set of Nev Jacks vintage at Holdempokerchips.com, they seem pretty nice too.
I also see some TH & C Fan of cards out there that would work for a cash game set.
What do you think? Please tell me your thoughts?
Thanks,
Lorenzo

Re: Cash game chips

i have 30 or so fan of cards paulsons, and i'm not a fan. the giant inlay makes the chips too slick for my taste.

if i had the bread, i'd definitely do casino chips. to go with them? i dunno.
pharaoh non-denoms? paulson sunbursts (is that what they're called?)?

Re: Cash game chips

It all depends on what you want to spend.....if it was me, and I was set on having casino chips, I'd go to a casino (if they had them near me) and buy a few racks of $.25, $.50, ( if they even had them) and $1 chips---you can always return them for exactly what you paid, and no sales tax (lol). First, I'd buy a couple rack covers and wear cargo pants.

If you can't get real 25 and 50 cent chips, I'd get the regular NJ chips, because you can always get more, they're cheaper, and they'll match any white $1 casino chips you have. Paying too much for 25 and 50 cent chips just seems wrong. Of course, I say this after buying $.50 le cove chips, so don't take me too seriously on that one.

I have some $.25 Nevada Jack clays that I can sell. There are 150 of them. They are these ones http://nevadajacks.net/!chip_pics001/chips/nj25c.jpg

Make an offer if you are interested.

Re: Cash game chips

You like the winns?.....I think the new ( last years) Binions Blue $1 beat winns in style...I got lucky and snagged 300 of them the day after they were shipped to binions....for 50 cent chips, theres nothing that beats the HOT PINK PAULSONS of the Riviera in Vegas, they sell unc. to the public, if they have them on hand...no edge spots, but awsome pink color...

Re: Cash game chips

There is a member selling his NJ clays over in member to member. Maybe you might want to consider those. I think they are a nice set.

Re: Cash game chips

I use the new Paulson $25 chips for quarters in my game, and they work really well....Just a thought, those might go nicely with the Wynns as well-
