TFP Mold BCC Solid Blanks GB *Gauging Interest*

I contacted TwoFacePoker (chiptalk sponsor) about selling some SOLID Blanks on their mold (made by Blue Chip Company). They have expressed willingness to allow this if there is enough interest. I have no problem with letting a more experienced CTer run this thing if the interest is there. I just thought I'd bring it up.

Requirements: Minimum of 2000 chips TOTAL, Minimum of 200 Chips per Color

Cost: .55/chip (lightweight) or .60/chip (heavyweight) plus shipping...If some want light weight and some want heavy weight of the same color, I imagine the 200 chip minimum would have to be met on each...

Timeframe: I did not ask about the time to produce blanks but I imagine it is much less than other BCC chips because there are no inlays and edgespots to do.

I am writing to see if there is enough interest to make this happen as the minimums are very obtainable. My main interest in these is that ALL BCC colors are available (as long as we get at least 200 per color). This opens up a world of options colorwise. I will probably get a tourney setup to be hotstamped later of at least 600 chips (thinking about day green, charcoal, lavender, w.orange, dolphin/sky blue).

About the chips: This mold is used on their "commission" set of chips. My samples are the heavy weight chips and weigh about 9.5g. There is a very slight recess and the recessed area measures 1 1/16" across. I doubt the recess is deep enough for any labels. There is also a very very slight cross hatching texture across the entire chip/inlay.

Interested:
markc79 - 600 - 700 (dark green, black, purple, w. blaze orange, dolphin blue)
shanes3t - 200 (maybe)
mike33 - 70-100 day green
HarrysAllOut - 300-600
develvjd- - 600 - 800 (possibly dark green, black, purple, w. blaze orange)
pinkie1212 - 300-500
EmptyPocs - 1000 (gold, chocolate/adobe, sherbert green, plum/coral/mauve)

Quick Pr0n of the mold:

What's the diameter on the inlay area?

I'm not sure I did not ask them. This GB is for solids only.

I think to do something with edgespots, it might have to meet the 20,000 minimum like the T mold semi customs had.

Re: TFP Mold BCC Solid Blanks GB *Gauging Interest*

I really like the look of these chips. The mold is pretty sweet.

Edge spots would absolutely rock. Interest without edgespots (even just simple ones like in the picture) is significantly less until I see a sample.

I'd be in for a sample set regardless.....if edgespots, almost definitely in and if not not too sure.

Re: TFP Mold BCC Solid Blanks GB *Gauging Interest*

I would also like even simple edgespots, perhaps like the soith-point Chips they use at high-stakes poker or like their labeled gambino set, its the same style. Then i would be very interested.
But solids won´t do it for me

Re: TFP Mold BCC Solid Blanks GB *Gauging Interest*

If you are interested in edge spots, please contact twofacepoker about trying to set up a seperate group buy. There are probably huge minimums to meet and it will be a huge headache trying to please everyone by picking the colors and spots.

This is meant to be a simple solid color chips group buy on a nice mold. Because they are solids, the minimus are very reasonable and achievable and the cost is less and timeframe is shorter.

Any interest in solid BCC chips on this mold (all colors are available provided we meet the 200 chip per color minimum and 2000 total minimum)?
