Why is Modiano so dedicated to poker sized cards? I'd be all over these if they were bridge.

My favorite Modiano card in Acetate? You have got to be kidding me.

And you have new regular Cristallo colors? SHEESH!!

I had recently decided to stop buying Modiano plastic cards due to the following issues:

1- Decks bowing.
2- Cards holding creases, looking like dents in some cases.
3- Paint slowly wearing off the front of the cards.

I have about 10 decks of Modiano cards and they are all victim to these issues. However if the acetate construction of these new ones can solve most or all of these issues, then I will have to give them a go.

I also like the fact that these new cristallo's have gone back to a 2-pip layout and a white border on the backs.

Wow, I haven't had that problem with mine at all. I did have aproblem with my kem's bowing though and the copags creasing. The kem's were left in the heat and humidity though, so that was my fault. That's why I only use Modiano now.

I've noticed Modianos are the worst at taking dents from fingernails. Why anyone has to dig their fingernails into their cards is beyond me. I accidentally left my Dal Negro acetates in my car for six days. The temp was well over 80 for every one of those days and I have no idea how hot my car got, but it had to be over 100 easily. No bowing at all.

Agreed. Card manufacturers really need to have at least the very standard bridge size and regular index, especially the european ones.
