Help me use my t25000 chips

Bought this set of stamped GCR tourney chips and just on a whim decide to add 40 (actually got 45) of the t25000 chips. the color got changed a few times before production and i finally settled on plum. i never really expected to use them much. However, when they came the color is so awesome that I'm trying to think of a way to structure my tourney to get them into play with a typical 8-10 man game.

My breakdown is this:

240 t25
260 t100
180 t500
200 t1000
100 t5000
40 t25000

How can i make it work?

Re: Help me use my t25000 chips

I'll be following this thread Mark. I also had 25k chips added to my customs and don't get good use from them. I even had t2500 chips added to one of my sets and have yet to get those into play.

Re: Help me use my t25000 chips

I got T25000 chips in my set also. I figured that I would run the same structure as my usual T10000 but have every one start at T50000 for a larger buy-in tourney, say $100 instead of the usual $20. I also got enough to colour up so in the later stages I will only have T1000,T5000 and T25000 on the table.

Re: Help me use my t25000 chips

Mark, your set is almost the same breakdown as my 30-player T-mold set...at capacity I get some T25K chips into play but only when it gets down to heads up to color up the T1000s.

240 X T25
300 X T100
120 X T500
240 X T1000
100 X T5000
40 X T25K

30-player T25K stacks are 8-8-4-7-3 (T25 to T5000).

For 8-10 people getting all 6 denoms into play is a little awkward, but you could do a single table T100K, giving out 15-7-10-7-2 (T100 to T25K) and start the tourney at 300/600/100 ante for a final table feel.

Re: Help me use my t25000 chips

9 max 200k

45 chips to start.
10. *500. 5k
20 1000 20k
10 5000 50k
5 25000. 125k

at 9 people there would be 1.8m in play so heads up
would be 30 1k, 100 5k and 40 25k

I was about to say something similar.
Skip the T25 levels.
You have lots of T1000's to cover the low level of T500's, so you can get to the yummy chips at the end.

Nice T25K's!

Re: Help me use my t25000 chips

Thanks for the advice so far... I should have specified up front but I'm ok not using the t25 or t100 chips if needed. Just kind of looking for a higher structure than my typical t10k to t20k setups where i can utlize my t25000 chips.

Corn your suggestion looks good. i was thinking something in the t100k to t200k range.

tastic nice breakdown. great minds think alike. I probably got a few more 500s than i need and i see that you also prefer the t1000 to the t500.

Re: Help me use my t25000 chips

I have a set of solid PCRs from PGI that I used for a T30K tournament... wished I had some T25Ks and almost bought some... Have to wait until I need more stuff from Joe to justify the $20 shipping

For the T30K, you can start with
8 x 25
8 x 100
6 x 500
6 x 1000
4 x 5000

or
10 x 100
6 x 500
6 x 1000
4 x 5000

I used blindvalet to figure the blind schedule and starting chip stacks

Re: Help me use my t25000 chips

Great suggestions guys. I like the idea of a t200k tourney with all high-denom chips.
