Charity Poker Game

A good friend of ours just lost her father. On top of all that their house just burned down today. They also provide foster care to many kids from babys on up to teens. So I am thinking about hosting a charity poker game where all the money goes to the family. I am in need of any advice on how to go about this, and also any supplies anyone would be willing to donate like old dice chips or even poker tables tops, or even a trophy. I need to check the Laws here in PA so everything is pending upon that. If everything checks out ok this is an open ivite to everyone here that would like to play. Location is Southern PA close to the Maryland line. I would like to have around 100+ people, More details to follow.....Thanks in advance

Re: Charity Poker Game

I am not too far from you then, and I would like to play. I don't have much to donate as far as supplies are concerned. If you need any help once the event gets underway, I would help as much as I can.

Re: Charity Poker Game

I would be willing to donate a bunch of denominated dice chips, I have between 1,500 to 2,000. There has to be a lot of people here who have some. Maybe a pay it forward type of thing for only Charitable events. When the event is over that person sends whatever supplies were donated to the next persons event. Is something like this workable here?
