need some help here

Were doing chips for someone with breast cancer and no insurance- someone is doing a holdem tournament to raise money and they have no idea what they need in chips- neither do we

THey anticipate 100-125 players

Can someone give me the quantity and denomination breakdown we would need-

theyre thinking about using 1,5,25,50 denoms but its not etched in stone

Thannks folks

Re: need some help here

for 125 players here's my 2 cents:

give out these starting stacks:
T5 x 10
T25 x 10
T100 x 7
========
T1000; 27 chips

and get the following for the set:
T5 x 1250
T25 x 1500
T100 x 1250
T500 x 250
T1000 x 250
===========
4500 chips

start the blinds out at 5/10 and go from there, adjusting the levels for when you want it to end. again, just something i threw together quickly. someone will probably come up with something better.

Re: need some help here

Joe

Here's my advise:
Starting Stack: 200
Breakdown:
$1 x 10
$5 x 13
$25 x 5
$100 x 0

Here is the proposed Blind Structure:
1 - 2
2 - 4
3 - 6
4 - 8
5 - 10
6 - 12
8 - 16
10 - 20
15 - 30
20 - 40
25 - 50
30 - 60
40 - 80
50 - 100
75 - 150
100 - 200
150 - 300
200 - 400
250 - 500
300 - 600
400 - 800
500 - 1000
600 - 1200
800 - 1600
1000 - 2000

If the need to speed it up they can remove some of those levels but they should be fine with that. Colour Up the ones with 5's, colour up the 5's with 100's and colour up the 25's with 100's. Here's the totals you need to provide: (assumed 130 players + a few spare for losses etc)

$1 - 1400
$5 - 2000
$25 - 750
$100 - 350
Total Chips: 4.5k

I hope this helps Joe

Regards
Ian

if they're deadset on the T1 chip, go with ian's suggestion. it looks very good, imo.
