I'll rant on one point here....
You have way, way WAY too many of the small ($1K) chips. You need a few for antes but that's it.
With 4/8K blinds, a typical pre-flop raise would be 25K, with betting going up from there. Do you really want guys pushing around 2-3 stacks of $1Ks, always counting them out, tipping them over, etc.? No, guys will bet with $5s and $25s and leave the small chips alone.
A few levels later, you can color-up the $1Ks. Then you've paid good money for 300 chips (for only 6 people!) that are going to sit around useless for the bulk of the tournament. That's a waste of money IMO. Better to spend your $$$ on middle chips.
OK, I understand you want big stacks, that's a ton of fun. So here are a couple of choices:
Stay with $1,000,000 starting stack:
25 x $1K
60 x $5K
27 x $25K
112 chips
(but personally I'd use 20/61/27 for 108 chips)
Bigger stacks with a $1,500,000 starting stack:
25 x $1K
70 x $5K
45 x $25K
huge stack of 140 chips
We run a Meeelllion Dollar Tourney once in a while with a starting stack of 46 chips, and it's plenty big enough. Especially when the first few guys bust out, then there are more than enough chips on the table.
But do what's fun for you and your group. And good luck man!
