Ok, the college buddies are coming in town this weekend for our annual get-together. I want to use my Mardi Gras Queen chips. I broke em out tonight but had trouble figuring out starting stacks and blinds. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Game info:
7 players
One rebuy per person
Tourney length - ideally 4-5 hours long

chips available to use:
$1 chips - 205
$5 chips - 205
$10 chips - 55
$25 chips - 105
$100 chips - 55

here is one option quick for a T500. im sure you will hear many others also.

assumed you wanted to get the $10 chips in play.

starting stack:
10 x $5
5 x $10
8 X $25
2 x $100

color-up your $5's with $25's.
if i did my math right, you should have enough for color-up and rebuys.

here is an option from someone over at HPT:

with 7 player x 500 starting stack that puts 3500 chip in play without rebuys. if you assume 4 players rebuy that puts a total of 5500 chips in play. game should end when big blinds reach around 4-6% of total chips in play (220 - 330).

you could even put your $1 chips in play and start the blinds off smaller - and gradually work your way up to the BB400 mark.

You have $8000+ between your top two denominations, so T500 is your best bet. You could do T600 and hope that everybody doesn't rebuy, but there's no good reason for it. Good luck with the tourney.
