What do you do if you do not have enough chips to colorup???? Do you just colorup what you have???
I am looking at the amount of chips that Jim at the ChipRoom is offering for a tourney. I have been fooling around with the chip calculator at HPT and it seems for T2000 10 person or T1500 18 person (and other iterations), I will not have enough to colorup the T25s.
Breakdown:
T5 - 200
T25 - 175
T100 - 100
T500 - 75
just use the t100 AND t500 when you are colouring up the t25s
so if the chipleader has enough chips, you can use the a couple of t500s to buy up his/her t25 & some t100. then when you get enough t100s this way, then you can colour up the rest of the t25s
Best way to do it: have the big stack at the table buy up all the T25's. Then buy them all from him/her. They may cash in two rack's worth of chips, but you only have to hand out ten T500 chips...(or some T100 if the chip leader needs it after buying up the T25's).
But bottom line, no worries... Some will have T500 worth of T25's...give them a T500 chip instead of five T100's...
