T10,000 Chip Count Help

If I follow the structure below (or something similar) (thanks USIreland), how many chips should I purchase if I will host a 20-25 person tourney? I would like to use T25/T100/T500/T1000 chips only. Would I need T5000 chips? Do tourneys really make past level 18?

Thanks

Re: T10,000 Chip Count Help

Hi... i think if you host a tourney with 25 people and perhaps also a rebuy...T5000 chips would be useful if there 3 guys left at the end with a total of 250.000 chips.
So you have to decide if there will be any rebuys...then perhaps also some (really few) T10.000 would be useful.
try this tool...it is really helpful!

Re: T10,000 Chip Count Help

25 Green x 320
100 Black x 400
500 Purple x 160
1000 White x 120

total chips = 1000

STARTING STACKS

T10,000 for up to 20 people...
25 Green x 16 = 400
100 Black x 16 = 1600
500 Purple x 8 = 4000
1000 White x 4 = 4000

This leaves you with enough 100 black chips to color up the 25 green chips and enough 1000 white chips to color up the 100 black chips.

T5,000 for up to 40 people...
25 Green x 8 = 200
100 Black x 8 = 800
500 Purple x 4 = 2000
1000 White x 2 = 2000

This leaves you with enough 100 black chips to color up the 25 green chips and enough 1000 white chips to color up the 100 black chips.
