Less work, less expense, less controversy. In my own poker circle, anything that looks remotely like a rake is considered heresy! Better you should forget about collecting the $240.
Otherwise, I guess you'll likely wrap it up before the blinds hit 2000/4000. Is that timing good?
There's a lot of info you left out, such as blind increments and denominations of chips you are using. |

Just my suggestion... I also run monthly 24 man tournies but they are T10,000

Just my suggestion... I also run monthly 24 man tournies but they are T10,000 | I think ill prolly do that on my next one since i already handed out the sheets with all the info. the place i play at locally for fun which is where most of the players are coming to play from actually jumps from 200/400 to 500/1000, its the craziest thing ive ever seen with blinds. thanks for the input. so T10000 means Tourny 10k in chips to start? ive been wondering about this language ive been reading on here the past few days since joining. |

Chips: 362 | | | Re: Advice on 24 player home tourny T3000 is a little short IMO. I would do a T5000.
24 players X 5,000 = 120,000 chips in play X 4% = 4800 (BB at the end of the game)
Blinds should go:
25-50
50-100
75-150
100-200
150-300
*Color-up 25's
200-400
300-600
400-800
600-1200
800-1600
*Color-up 100's
1000-2000
1500-3000
*Color-up 500's
2000-4000
3000-6000 <--- should end here (17 levels levels including breaks)
4000-8000
6000-12000
20 minute levels will last about 5 hours and 40 minutes.
