anyone? i tried running my home tourney as a HOSE game and my blind/betting/starting stack structures were all out of whack ... hard to create one of your own that compliment each other properly with blinds, antes, brings - ins , small/big bets ...
by the time i made up the structure i had a massive headache .... and it was horrible anyway llol
i have the wsop rep set up with denoms 1k - 100k

Although I can't provide you with a HORSE or HOSE structure, especially for your chip set, I suggest that you check out some of the online tournament structures such as at Full Tilt or Poker Stars. They typically start out with 1500 TD, but you could calculate a structure based on a multiple of an online structure that would be more suitable to your chip set. A little tinkering might be in order, but these structures should get you off to a good start.
Good luck! |

Doing that would remove virtually ALL of the interest in the final table and would simply pander to the mindless world of couch potatoes that believe that there is only 1 form of poker, confusing them in the process with a lot of talk about how this is a real test of all round poker playing while clearly only playing NLHE. |

PLEASE don't have a H.O.R.S.E.N. tourney. You might end up having some former MIT blackjack player turned luckbox get second because of it... |

The standard structure is playing HO at one level, bump the limits for the stud variations, then repeat. With your chips, you kinda have to start with limits of 2000/4000. That's 50 BB to start and should make for a reasonably timed tournament. You might have to fool around with round times to get in the proper number of hand per game. You could just add a zero to the WSOP structure linked in a previous post and go from there. Hope this helps. |

Chips: 784 | | | Re: H.O.R.S.E anyone I recently held a HORSE tournament. We bought in for $15 and used $.10 as standard denomination. Unfortunately, my group likes tournaments, so we had to raise the blinds after every complete round.
We changed games after one complete dealing rotation around the table.
Starting stack: (25) $.10, (15) $.50, (5) $1.
Hold'Em & Omaha: small blind: $.10, big blind: $.20, flop: $.20, turn & river: $.40.
Razz & Stud: ante $.10, bring in: $.10, complete $.20, small bet: $.20, big bet: $.40.
Using $.10 increments allowed for a lot of action without breaking the bank. We allowed (1) optional rebuy or add-on when a player got down to $5. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
