TOC - WSOP, need blind schedule

I've been running a league using a T1500 setup with a blind structure that gives a 30 man tournament of about 5-6 hours

For the Tournament of Champions, I want to run a T10K WSOP type tourney, and need to know what blind structure to use to get a 30 man tourney of about 6 hours, plus / minus 1 hour

Any help would be appreciated
Thx

Sandy Creek

I always turn to www.homepokertourney.com for any blinds/structure questions. IMO this site is very useful. Best of Luck!

Doug,

Here's the schedule we've used for T10000 deep stacks. We haven't done 30 players, but shoot for 6-7 hours and have used 30 min blinds (which we shorten to 20 after 5 hours. So, I'd estimatethat for 30 players and 6-7 hours, use 20 minute blinds throughout.

25 50
50 100
75 150
100 200
150 300
200 400
300 600
400 800
600 1200
800 1600
1000 2000
1200 2400
1500 3000
2000 4000
2500 5000
3000 6000
4000 8000
5000 10000
6000 12000
8000 16000

Michael

Re: TOC - WSOP, need blind schedule

Your tournament will probably end when the blinds are about 10000/20000.

You can use the following scheme in which the blinds increase at about 50% every level

(25/50)
50/100
75/150
100/200
150/300 (colour up 25s)
200/400
300/600
500/1000
700/1400 (colour up 100s)
1000/2000
1500/3000 (colour up 500s)
2000/4000
3000/6000
5000/10000
7000/14000
10000/20000
(15000/30000)
(20000/40000)

Use the 25/50 level if you want a slower pace in the beginning.

You can use 30 minute levels for the first few levels and then change to 20 minute levels.

See the following article for more info on blinds: http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/poker-...tml#post412838
