I've been hosting a T1,500 game once a month for about a yaer and a half. I got in on the Bellagio GB so it will change to a T10,000 once I get the chips. I have seen a couple of blind schedules but would like to know what is working for you. We normally have 10 players and like to play about 4 hours. My lowest denom on the table will be 25 so I don't need to start at 100 100 or 100 200 like I have seen on some of the other schedules.
For home use 10 players x T10k = T100k in play (no rebuys) after 4 hours you may have two 50k stacks heads up - probably 4-5k BB would bring it to an end. The WSOp structure with 15 min blinds may work.

You can easily play with each player starting with 8 $25 chips. Players will have to make change from each other from time to time, but I don't find it annoying. I find it more annoying to start with a larger amount, such as 12 or 16, but that is a matter of personal preference.
With 5 different denomination chips, you could use the following:
8x25
8x100
4x500
2x1000
1x5000
I only own 300 chips myself, so when I host a single table T10,000 tourney, I start with:

15 to 20 minute blinds (we change it up, but usually leave it at 15)

600/1200
etc....
Starting stacks:
40 - $100
8 - $500
2 - $1000
or some similar variation, we also change the stacks up sometimes.
