Starting Stack:
20-T5: T100
20-T25: T500
4-T100: T400
Total: T1000
Chip Set:
300-T5
300-T25
200-T100
100-T500
100-T1000
Blind Schedule (20 min/level):
10/20
15/30
20/40 (color up T5 after this level is finished)
25/50
50/100
75/150
100/200
150/300 (color up T25 after this level is finished)
200/400
300/600
400/800
500/1000
600/1200
800/1600 (color up T100 after this level is finished)
1000/2000
2000/4000
~we usually let players color up T500 chips whenever they wish (after a hand is over).
The tourney usually lasts between 3 and 5 hours, depending on a number of different things (how many players, how long our breaks are (we're pretty informal), etc.) We just love to play and have a good time. We're by no means "experts" or what some would call "good" players, but that's not what it's all about for us. |

Chips: 362 | | | Re: Post your starting stacks/blinds here for others' information My post above with the T10,000 is my more 'serious' blind structure. I have developed a new one that isn't very 'serious'. I will use (havn't used it yet) this structure when I want to get in 2 games in one night. BCR_9er's T15,000 Structure. Starting Stack:
15 x T100 = 1,500
9 x T500 = 4,500
4 x T1,000 = 4,000 1 x T5,000 = 5,000
Total = T15,000 My Chip Set:
320 x T25
320 x T100
240 x T500
120 x T1,000
40 x T5,000 (Plaques)
20 x T10,000 (Plaques that are not in the starting stack) Blind Schedule (15 minute Levels):
100-200
200-400
300-600
400-800
600-1200
800-1600 Color-up 100's
1000-2000
1500-3000 Color-up 500's
2000-4000
3000-6000
4000-8000
6000-1200
With 10 players and 15 minute blind levels, It should last about 3 hours by the 4% rule. |

Both of these are based upon the Texas TEARS sytem (tweaked by me) so the jumps are more gentle. The Stud levels are longer than the Flop game levels. I've found these to work very well for my game (1 table) for both the texture and time of the game. They're maybe not as quick as some of the other games I've seen listed but I think they lend themselves to a very skillful and enjoyable 4+ hours. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
