    all welcome! get in now!

Cost: $20, held by me via pokerstars transfer, FTP transfer, or paypal (plus fees = $20.91).
Payouts: winner 70% second place 30% (provided 10 or more participants...if < 10 then winner take all)

Horses: 6 horses each, with your top 5 performers counting towards your score.
Choosing horses: your team will be selected in a serpentine style draft thread (or IM if we have a smaller group) that will go up when we're ready. if you can't make it...it's okay. i have solutions. you can 1) provide a proxy to act in your stead, or 2) email/pm me a list of your top however many runners, and i'll give you your best available each time you come up. dude, you have to admit that's a pretty reasonable solution.

Scoring: all open events count (no invite only or ladies only events), using 2008 wsop poy rules (link)

    Timeline:
Contest thread goes up 5/19 DONE woo!
Buyin due by 5/24 midnight pacific DONE woo!
Draft starts Monday 5/25, at 6:30 pacific / 9:30 eastern. DONE woo!
    events begin 5/28

    What you should do now:
    • make a post that will be your official recordkeeping post, including your 6 players.
    • prepare to sweat!

i think it's best...logistically can be weird. remember for the fantasy thing? we had to get people set up, figure out what platform, yadda yadda yadda. it's what i'm shooting for, anyhow.

i hate that you're not available, but i hope you take advantage of one of our workarounds. you can put in a proxy, or much easier, send me or someone else that's participating a list to use to draft your team.

it'll be worth it during the wsop, just for the sweat.

Also working on availability and a list and such. I could use some monies. I'll have to get paid in UB or paypal when I win, but I'll eat the fees because they are so yummy.

    got it, JLD.

for drafting, i recommend everyone that doesn't have one now get a gmail account, [strike]and install gtalk. [/strike]
    gmail website
    [strike]gtalk download. [/strike]

that'll get you where you need to be to get into the draft on monday. if you have an IM account from elsewhere that's compatible or use a multiplatform service or whatever, then you don't need my directions in any event.

if anyone needs help with any of this, let me know and i'll can help.

edit: gtalk not useful for this issue. we'll do it from your gmail homepage. just get a gmail account and ship it to me so i can bring you in for the draft.
