Any chance we could see the other denoms in each set? Have you considered adding a 25c chip to the set? It might be more useful than the $2.50 chip.

The public has spoken! The 2.50 chip will now be a 25 cent chip  Thank you for the suggestion.

As for seeing others in the set, not at this time, but we're working on it!

Thought I asked this question already but maybe I didn't.

Will the other denoms be available to view before voting closes? It's tough (bordering on impossible) to vote for a "set" when only one chip is available, and even tougher when a different denom from each set is shown.

Currently the other images are not available but we are working on getting them ready. The list of each set's images can be seen on our website however.

After looking at the designs, you would be better off with having a "Design our next Chip" instead of voting on these. Winner gets a set of 500.

There are quite a few good chip artists on this site, and no I'm not one of them. Sorry to be harsh, hopefully it's constructive.

I wouldn't vote for or buy any of them.

But the odds are that "Honor and Pride" will be really offensive. For one, if the Purple Heart is the $1 chip, someone at GameOn has no clue about the ranking of military decorations. You'd expect the most significant decorations to be the higher denominations.

IMO, your six medals are poorly chosen.

Also, the Purple Heart, in particular, has nothing to do with either honor or pride. I've seen them awarded to guys who fell out of a jeep and cut a finger.

Please feel free to vote on this thread. One denomination from each series is shown below.

Honor & Pride will consist of 6 Military Medals, the Purple Heart (above), Bronze Star, Silver Star, POW Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal.

Parallel Dimension will showcase 6 different out of this world creatures, zombies, dragons, skulls (above), aliens, the Grim Reaper and vampires.

Around the Globe takes you to 6 different locations, Colosseum (above), the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower, the Taj Mahal, Stonehenge, and the Sydney Opera House.

Get Lucky will feature 6 different lucky items, a rabbit's foot, the #7 (above), an elephant with it's trunk raised, a lady bug, a clover, and a horseshoe.

I'd vote A. It's the only design I like out of the bunch.

Having said that I'm not likely ever buying a set.

I like someone's earlier suggestion for a design comp. heaps of great designers around here and a heap of good ideas could come from it.

This. If you want to make your chips look fugly and cheap, out of this world creatures, lucky items and similar crap is exactly the way to go. Do you really think anyone wants to see stuff like this on a ceramic poker chip?

In another thread, you posted some quite nice designs, which are far superior and would - with only minor modifications - yield some really fine chips:

    http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/custo...mics-only-put-your-pr0n-here.html#post1235292

If you want see some great looking ceramics, just take a look at posts #14, #16 and #23 of the same thread. There's probably a reason for seeing no skulls or four-leaf clovers on these ...

A design competition would be a marvellous idea, you can check some guidelines from here:
Chip Design Contest: Code Name Protégé -

Sidepot's Protege's were designed here years ago through a design contest.

Your next chip design should be the same basic theme/design as your sample chips - just replace your logo/text in the center with a fictional/generic casino or poker room logo and text. Or better yet, just repeat the denomination in the center in a bigger font.

The closer your chip looks to be from a real casino, the better...

I did not want to say it, but why be a yes man. I did not care for any of the designs either. I do like the chip in your avatar! I tend to like actual casino chipcos, I own a set I bought from the chiproom. The designs you presented in your contest all seem kind of tired, like they have been tried before.

It is a tough market you are getting into!

    Mike and Mike,

Thank you for the comments, your suggestions are what we are looking for. The purpose behind the vote was to make something you wanted to have in your collection, it's been made clear that traditional is the way to go and we will accommodate that.

All of your comments are being read and are highly regarded. So much so that in the next month we will have a design contest for you to partake in. Details coming soon.

I have a feeling that the year 2014 will be "The Year of Ceramic Chips"

I went to your website to register to vote, but I don't see a register link anymore. I see the designs are here so I would vote for C, but none of the designs interest me enough to buy. Also, if these are cash sets, why not make a 20 dollar chip instead of a 25. Maybe drop the 10 and make it a Non Denom that can be used for anything else. I'm looking forward to your future designs. As Pug already said, 2014 will be the year of the ceramics
