I havent been active on HPT but this video review was posted about 2 months ago. Granted they're not on the mold agreed upon here but similar to the ones we're ordering. I didn't want the link to get lost in the 100+ pages in the GB thread so i've created a new thread for it

The video is 14 mins long so here is a little breakdown, skip to whatever section you're interested in

    Introduction - 0:00-3:15
    Sound comparison - 3:30-8:30
    Damage Test/Removing Label etc - 8:38-11:40
    Color comparison between 25/25k, 1k/5k, 5/500k - 11:41-13:20

Yes. A different pantone code was sent to the manufacturer.

Re: Video review of PWGoP/BLGoP chips

Please remove the BLGoP reference from this thread title, as those chips are not related to the chips reviewed in the OP's posted video (which itself is full of errors and common misconceptions) nor the company that sells them.

The highlighted text above in your post is false. The BLG chips use a completely different color palette than the reviewed chips - NONE of the BLG chip or spot colors are the same as those chips. The T&S mold used for the BLG chips is totally new, and contains a crosshatched pattern which the reviewed chips do not have. The only real similarity is that the chips share the same dimensions, and the same label technology is used for both chips (paper with plastic lamination; not vinyl as the video inaccurately states).

Again, we do not wish for the BLG chips to be confused with or associated in any way with the chips in the OP. Please remove all BLG references from the thread title and your inaccurate statements from the OP.

I wouldn't want those two chips to look similar since both will be in play at the same time.

I understand wanting to ensure incorrect expectations aren't given.

Surely you understand his point...? In the first six responses there were already two concerned with colors. We have 300,000 chips coming, really no need for people to get bent out of shape about anything they see in this video since our chips will look and sound different than these.
