That mold is horrible, worse than the 'Paulson Chips' mold! And I didn't think that was possible. The inlay blows too since its so uninspired and dull at least on the $1 and $25, the $5 is decent.

The $5 is awesome, I like the colors on the $1 although I will miss the grey solids from the old IP. I think I have a few from my last trip.

I'm not sure the smaller inlay will fly, perhaps they have changed to a larger inlay on the second run. Maybe even better inlays, like the $5.

This looks like a relabel job gone horribly wrong.

The chips didn't hold my attention at all and my eyes went to the table graphics instead. I'm digging that modern looking Roulette layout - what little you can see of it anyway.

Is there a contest running in Vegas the last couple of years to make the least interesting chip around? And, is this contest broken down into three categories (worst mold, most generic inlay, least-coordinated color-combo among a set)?

More likely who can have the least amount of chips taken by collectors. These chips might win all three categories ^

the TH&C's in the mold not being at the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock positions really bother me

The top hats in the mold are only about 160 degrees from each other on the mold, not 180. It makes the mold look lop-sided.

I think the spacing works as well as can be (given the ugly font). If they put the H&C at 3 & 9 the lower text would need to be smaller--that wouldn't look any better, IMO. The $25 chip pic is deceiving because of the 418 pattern and the unfortunate alignment of spots to the mold. But nobody I know of aligns the mold to the spots (not even ASM).

The $5 inlay looks like a grey golf ball.
The $25 may be the worst ever.
