This gallery is up because there are some really nice Hot Stamped chips being made right now at The Chip Room and I thought you might like to see some of them. Also use this thread if you have ordered a Hot Stamped or Blank/Labeled set with us to show some of your Pron!

This might be the Nicest Chip Picture I have ever taken. The Crispness and Clarity of these hot stamps is out of this World.

The Beautiful Aztar Hot Stamped set that surfaced earlier in the year had some influence on the current Desert Palms stamps. As you can see from this side by side photo. The font in Desert Palms is similar to that of the Aztar's. Originally I wanted the 1000 to be an 8v, but it wasn't permitted by BCC due to the difficulty in manufacturing that combination. We were going to invert the Aztar colors and go with a Dolphin Blue Base and White and DG Orange 8v spots. But I think the Canary Yellow with 3 U spots looks great too.

Why is there a black ring around the hotstamp?
Is it just there to indicate the size of a normal inlay on a T mold chip?
    It's distracting.

The NCV bridge shot looks nice.

I think it represents the inner divot/ditch/crevass on the tmold.

It isnt a huge indentation but maybe it is enough to spoil a hotstamp if they try to stamp over it?

I would like to open the floor for discussing a Desert Palms Tournament series of stamps. If you have any ideas of what you would like to see please add your thoughts.

    Desert Palms Tourney Hotstamp

Hi guys, I was kicking around a simple idea for a tourney hotstamp. It's not that SOK does not have nice hotstamps. I really like his tourney stamps, but this Desert Palms mold is a really nice mold. Looks just like a paulson house mold from a real casino. So I started thinking about how a casino tournament chip looks. I was thinking of having the words Desert Palms above the Denom and below that No Cash Value.
Have the standard denoms, 5, 25, 100, 500, 1000, 5000, 10000 . It would be nice to incorperate the Desert Palms palm tree, but I don't think there would be enough room. I'm not much of an artist either. I would be interested in a group buy with people for the hotstamp dies. I would love to hear other ideas on the subject of Desert Palms. thanks, frank

Hey SOK, looks interesting. I actually prefer No Cash Value in place of Tournament . I haven't seen too many Casino chips that don't use NO Cash Value on their Tournament chips.

I agree, replace Tournament with No Cash Value and that stamp looks pretty good imo. Might be interested in a group buy for that stamp, depending on price I guess. I also like the stock Tournament stamp SOK has already.

That's a winner for me SOK, standard denoms 5 through 10000. I would only suggest that 10000 be used instead of 10k. It looks classier.

Damn, that looks really good. Might have to hold off an order until I see what develops with this. I like that it's really simple, would be a classy tournament set imo!

    Desert Palms Cash stamp

So I was thinking the original DP set never had a 20 dollar chip, which fits nicer in a cash set. What would make a cash hotstamp perfect for this project is to utilize the old design used on the 5c-25c-50c chips. Desert Palms with the palm tree and the denom below it. Something like this.....

Anyone have any thought or interest ?? Would something like this be possible SOK ?

If it comes down to the wire, I am more interested in a 10000 stamp over a 5 stamp
