    Hey all.

After taking a bit of a break, I decided to try my hand at some more chip design. These chips are for the fictional Sunrise Casino in WA, and are sort of modeled off of the Chipco ceramic designs that were typical of WA state cardrooms of the late 90s-early 2000s. Inspiration was drawn from the Drift on Inn's chips, Grand Central Casino's chips, and the Silver Dollar Casino's chips. As an homage to the late 90s WA practices, I made a mock-up for purple $200 chips, which was the maximum bet on a blackjack game at the time.

I couldn't figure out how to shrink the pictures in this post, so I'll just post links. I would love your feedback.

And finally what the chips would look like in a blackjack table tray (note that I'm waffling on the $100 chips. Not sure which pattern I like better):

    I like the general design. It's a fun-looking ceramic.
I have a problem with a couple of the fonts:
    1) While I like the font for "Casino", the perspective seems backwards. That word seems to lie on a horizontal surface that recedes toward the sun. But the perspective on the characters recedes toward the front. This is easiest to see on the "I", but all characters have the same issue. It would seem more natural if the word had a vanishing point at the sun, so your eye was naturally drawn to the sunrise.
    2) The "WASHINGTON" really stands out from the rest of the design. I can see using that design for the denoms, which you want to stand out. But Washington isn't the most important element of the design, is it? I'd suggest changing the design - or at least the colors - of WASHINGTON to fit more coherently with the rest of the graphics. Maybe make it green or yellow and merge a bit better with the green grill behind it.

The most important elements of the design, IMO, are the Sunrise and the denom. The rest should support, not compete with those.

Good eyes regarding the logo. Here's why it looks like that. Here's the font in its natural form:

I tried a more neutral font, and also tried your suggestion regarding "Washington".
