So what's different this time? Extended voting period, perhaps? Thanks again for hosting the contest!

I'll say it again - nice entries from everyone. Also, congrats to VegasMike and Rod on taking the early one/two lead! I'm keeping a close eye on everyone from the rear with a big fat ZERO! (Rod, who's getting their posterior handed to them now?!) Well, at least we know that I haven't been voting for myself! :stunned:

    Good luck to all!

I really liked your design Ski but I have a soft spot for aviation being I served in the Air Force. You definitely have skill no doubt!

Thanks for sharing. I almost fell out of my chair when I saw the first rabbit in the crosshairs on the original image posted by GOCC! That's awesome!

I like my design best so I voted for myself. We we not supposed to?

It was a tough choice, though. I almost voted for VegasMike (not that he needs it). He did a really great job on his design.

    Thanks, Ski.

I like going with poker themes, face card and card suit motifs. I get a kick from when people rabbit hunt at home games especially when the player's card would have come.

Glad I have until Dec 2 to vote on this, as they are all great designs. Need some time to think...

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. I enjoyed the contest. I also liked the idea of designing the inlay separate from the chip face (although I didn't think I would). With the chip face out of the way it gave me a chance to focus on inlay without getting 'lost in the weeds' trying to match with edgespots, etc. Also, Ski's chip face design is excellent.

I was trying for a vintage aviation theme, and just sort of backed in to the logo. Aviator Club seemed to fit - I wasn't even aware of the Aviation Club de Paris until after I submitted the design.

The biggest decision was whether or not to include the $ on the chips. I think it may look better as a tourney set without the $, but I wasn't sure how to deal with the .25-cent chip (Rush solved that problem elegantly). I also wasn't able to fit in the rolling edge denominations on the 500 and 1000 chip without messing with the integrity of the chip face.

All in all, I like all of the chips, which I believe is a function of the well-designed chip face. Good luck to all.

Unfortunately the voting has already started as the deadline for entries was yesterday. However, if the 5 participants have no problem with you joining the race we will allow it. It must be unanimous from Ski, Rod, Mike, Tim and Extraholes in order to do so.

I certainly have no problem with it. :stunned:

Very nice design, Kadrick. I like the "transparent inlay" aspect!

You're welcome, of course! I DO like your design a lot, though to be honest, it's not exactly a big sacrifice for ME to be OK with letting your design in the competition... I'm still sitting on exactly ZERO votes! :stunned:

This is actually starting to become pretty funny.

"Hello... helloooo...? Is this polling thing working??? I think the number 2 position is stuck!"
