This is just the tourney set. A cash set is on it's way as well as edges. I'll have solids as well as edge spots for those who like each.

As always, everything is customizable. Any combo of color with faux inlays with text with denom...

Sick design. Might be a bit too specific (the shark theme won't appeal to everyone but I think it looks awesome.

Thanks! I'm really enjoying doing these. It's not so much that I like sharks, or underwater themes, as much as I feel like sharks/aquariums/fish are very large parts of poker (one that a lot of people could get down with). As long as I'm the shark and you're the fish, and no one is tapping the glass, I'm good. :)

One of my biggest pet peeves at the table is when someone berates another player for playing poorly. DON'T TAP THE GLASS!!!!

Dude I'm totally stupid. Please forget my criticism. Don't know where my head is at. Was thinking to myself... Why is this guy so into fish? I'm going to **** up now.

HA! No worries. I was thinking to myself (before you responded), almost all of these chips (cars, art deco, clothing patterns, etc.) have a bit of a theme that a lot of people may not like. I thought mine was actually pretty open... all you have to like is winning at poker. I guess it makes more sense with a little note attached. :)

Really liking these chips - bring on the cash set.

THE TANK may be another option to Aquarium for personalization, if these get approved.

Yeah, that was actually another name I was playing around with. I also didn't know if it should be "The Aquarium", or just "Aquarium" (or the same with "The Tank"). But that is the beauty of customization. I really like how the cash set is turning out. I'll post it when I have more chips done.

I think 'The Aquarium' would work better.

I'll think about adding "The" in there... :)

Here's a few of the cash set. As you can see, you can choose from a faux mold, plain edge spots, or faux inlay with edge spots.[IMG]

I think that I prefer the regular round "inlays" over the shaped centers, and my only concern with the faux mold would be that it sits so close to the edge. If any shifting occurs in the printing the mold will make it more pronounced.

Other than that ... I love the theme and overall design! The color combos are spot-on and I love the texture you have incorporated in these. As always, awesome design! I am consistently impressed with your work!

I look forward to seeing more of these!

    Peace,
    Gary O. Stenstrom

Thanks Gary. Those faux molds can be bumped towards the center a bit if printing does become an issue and should still work. If these do make the cut, I'm sure I can work with Gene to make sure that works well.

Thanks for the praise. Any commendation from you is a great commendation indeed!

I kind of like the shaped center on the $5 chip, it looks like you're looking at a seashell (scallop to be specific) which fits with the theme.

    This^^^^

And I think you could fit it right above "the water line", somewhere left of the shark fin.

There is a small inconsistency with the cash set: the 25c chip's text is black whereas the rest are color-matched to the spots. I'm sure you did it on purpose to preserve readability, but it still catches the eye...

This is classic wafflestomper eyecandy, complete with a faux mold and sunburst effects

    That is my style... :)

I'm not completely happy with the 25 cent black color as well, but I'm doing the text in the secondary color, and yellow won't stand out. I don't think a thin black outline will show up when they are printed, but I may just give it a try and see what happens. The words "Aquarium" on the 1000T chip is also in black when it should be in yellow. I'm curious if I should change all the tourney chips to a black logo to make them stand out even more.

I'll stick the "The" on in the next few chips and see what we think.

Here are the newest cash chips. Still need to throw the edges together, but I'll probably get to that tomorrow. Any other denominations needed? For tourney or cash? I added in "The" and I think I like it. I'd go back and fix all of them in that case...

Next step (this time with a few changes and some edges added).
