There are times in our lives when doubt and worry weigh heavily upon us. But there are also occasions when friends and family cast it aside and come together to play, and feast and revel in all that is wonderful in this world. At these events, our boisterous cheers soar to glorious heights on wings of silver and gold. And during these precious moments, merriment and joy are counted and stacked before us.
Rousing celebration and hearty toasts are the lifeblood of all who bend their backs on this hard earth. The next time you gather your guests, give them something to remember. Make it unforgettable.

    Welcome them to...
    The Jubilee
Again ... Thanks to FeltLizard for the inspiring lead-in!!

    OVERVIEW
    ------------------------------------
It occurred to me that while the group buy for the National Reserve is running, this could be an opportunity for folks who did not get in on the earlier Group Buy for "The Jubilee" to piggy-back off the National Reserve group buy and take advantage of the group pricing.

The plan will be to combine both Group Buy orders into a single order, allowing both orders to count towards the group buy count.

I will, therefore -re-iterate the group buy information in the National Reserve thread here as well.

    Chip Details
    ------------------------------------
Finish : Not sure what it's called. It's not absolutely smooth ... but it doesn't have a chalk board or heavily textured feel to it either.

Manufacturer : Definitely ABC. I would have to be a REAL jerk to post someone else product in Gene's forum!! Regardless, ABC Ceramics are absolutely stunning to look at and to feel. The graphics and colors are as sharp, if not sharper than any other ceramics I have seen (yes ... I have seen Chipcos).

    Weight : 10gm

    Diameter : 39mm

    Sample sets ...
    ------------------------------------
Sample sets ARE currently available for "The Jubilee". Includes one of each of the 9 chips pictured below. They will each feature a house 'mold' saying "The Jubilee".

Pricing will be as follows for each sample set ordered. These prices include shipping and the PayPal fees.

    Domestic - $13.99
    Canada - $14.99
    Other Int'l - $16.99
    SHIPPING
    ------------------------------------
As far as shipping costs go ... the Group Buy shipping portion (the cost to ship it to me) will split out to evenly per person based upon the number of participants.

The cost to ship to each individual order from my place to the participant will be the responsibility of the individual participant.
    CUSTOMIZABLE FEATURES
    ------------------------------------
The whole point of these chips is to be personal and flexible. You may customize your order in any way allowed. Artwork fees are $35 for major modifications such as label/inlay area. Sorry I can't waive them this time

    Allowable customizations include
    1. Secondary colors
    2. Primary colors
    3. Banner text
    4. Denominations
    5. Aligned/unaligned edges

If you think of something that's not on this list. Feel free to ask!
    Progress :
    ------------------------------------
Feb 3, 2009 : Because of the job hunt the time frames are slipping a little: it is NOT CANCELLED however. I have submitted the final artwork for both The Jubilee and the National Reserve to Gene and the sample sets are being printed up now. I have updated the images below with the mock ups of the final designs.

Feb 16, 2009 : Sample Sets are readily available and begin shipping. Orders for complete sets will be taken. Personalization IS available.

March 31, 2009 : Tentatively - Last week to place orders. We will spend the next week completing personalization requests and confirming artwork.

April 7, 2009 : Tentative - Orders will be submitted to ABC for manufacturing.

April 28, 2009 : Tentative - I am allowing approximately 3 weeks for manufacturing and delivery to me. I will then take about a week to take photographs and and repackage orders.

    PRICING
    ------------------------------------

    1000-2499 $ .85

This does NOT include PayPal or shipping fees.

    Payment Information
    ------------------------------------
Payment can be made to "payment@stenstrom.net" at PayPal.
    FAQ's
    ------------------------------------
I will add to this list as questions come up
    1. "If I order 300 unaligned edges and there are 3000 total chips in the group buy, would I get the group buy rates regardless of edges"? - YES
Your price will reflect the per chip price based on the TOTAL order quantity.

Put the count above the FAQ so we don't have to scroll all the way down to find it.

Nope...you got it right. Number may increase to 600-1000 especially if I'm understanding how this works. Am I correct in thinking if aligned edge orders total >2400 my cost drops to .83?

Also, about to send you a PM re one more mock-up.

    Thanks, man.

Thanks. I moved the count and also added a "Current Prce" which reflects what the group buy price is at, based on the total number of chips currently ordered.

Re: "The Jubilee" Group Buy ...

    Yes with one modification ...

If the total order is > 2500 REGARDLESS OF EDGES ... aligned edge chips will be .83c. So even if you are the only one ordering aligned edges and the rest of the Group Buy is unaligned edges ... but ... the total order is > 2500, you will STILL get the .83 per chip price.

Personally, that seems like a great deal!!

    Hope that helps!

Re: "The Jubilee" Group Buy ...

UGGHH ... I just realized my error. I have updated the OP and my previous explanation (also in error)... the .83 for aligned edges is available at 2500+ ... not 2400+.

I am sorry. (Friggin' ADD). I am hopeful, however that this won't be an issue if we can get the 3000+ order I am hoping for!

Sorry T-Bone ... I hope I haven't further confused the issue for you or anyone else.

Is it bad to lay down $ for a 3rd set of chips when the 1st set hasnt even arrived yet? :)

sigh, im going to have to think long and hard about this one, a great design and I am sure it will be a nice price when people dive on board.

In the words of John McEnroe, "You cannot be serious!" Am I the only one taking advantage of this opportunity to get some absolutely stunning chips at bargain basement prices? Jeez, throw me a bone here. Help drive the price down so I can buy more.....:cigar:
