Captlego's Chipsounds Article
Wow, that has to be the best thing ever !
Sounds great, click on about 15 at once for a frantic casino sound
I would love to hear these! But my Mac doesnt recognise this page at all. I get all the photos but it dumps all the sound files to my desktop, none of which are readable.
Yeah, sorry about that
I don't know how to make this work with other browsers. I have all the files as .wav ... Unfortunately, my webhosting account doesn't allow for anonymous ftp. I might be able to setup an ftp account with a login/password where you could get these recordings.
If any member has some suggestions on how these could be made more widely available, I'd appreciate it.
Awesome. Never thought of an idea like this. Great work.
The article is great, but you left out the chip songs available on your web page - I LOVE the Popcorn Chip Song.
So, which is these has the deepest sound? I think possibly Matsui.
The Tangiers and Plastic Interlocking sound almost like wind chimes.
Of those, the Matsui sounds the deepest to me, too. The RT Plastics may be second.
Very informing,a real noticable difference in clinks. Great job.
WOW Great idea! sounds nice and informative.
CaptLego - this is awesome
Wow, I really want to check this out but I'm on a mac. How big are the individual .wav files?
Man It does sound cool when you play 12 at once Now i'm on a chip rush but nice job on those sound bites.
Most of those are 0.7 MB.
You should be able to download them.
Very nice - and it does sound cool with more than one at a time.
OH that's awesome!
I turned the volume all the way up on my laptop and quietly sat down on the couch beside my wife while she was engrossed in another wonderful Lifetime drama. I kept about 6 playing. It lasted about 2.5 minutes before my wife came unglued.
" three cheers and a tiger for you" awesome. sometimes I hand my girl and anybody visiting the war room a stack of chips and we all riffle them together cause I love the sound so much. oh yeah can anybody tell me who said it ...the quote above....a correct answer will get you a genuine Paulson chip
Well, Calvin (Calvin and Hobbes) has said it, but for some reason I'm thinking it was originally from a Bill Shakespeare play.
Music to my ears..
