Good luck on getting market values. Data is almost non existent.

The Crystal Park might have some ebay sales to go by. I seem to recall some small stack sales.

I do not recall seeing any Mark Twain in the last six months.

Used Aztars have been on the market, but mint ones have not (that I can recall). Uses Aztar chips - $0.50 to $1.00 or so.

Really the only way to know is an ebay auction promoted on both Chip Talk and PCF.

@MaxB was dying for some aztar 50c chips a while back. I'm sure the mint ones are worth $120+/rack. You really can't compare them to used Evansville chips.

It might help to know the breakdown of the two sets.

Twains hardly ever come up for auction. It's hard to tell someone a value when you want it at a discount :) I'd say the halves go between 100- 150, dollars would be around 150 plus, 5's 120 plus, 25's around 120 plus, 100's are the nicest, 150 - 200. Just guesses on my part and obviously, if two people want them, prices go up. Aztars would be similar. I see a lot of 100's listed at 300 a rack, but rarely go for that over inflated price.

thanks for the feedback ... i haven't decided what i'm going to do. I might sell some so they go to a good home but i'm also not needing the cash and i know it would be hard to build sets like these again ...

    I have a Twain set
    $0.50 = 200
    $1 = 200
    $5 = 200
    $25 = 200
    $100 = 200

I have a mixed Twain and Aztar set
    $.50 Aztar = 100
    $1 Aztar =100
    $5 Twain = 100
    $25 Twain = 100
    $100 Aztar = 100

And have some other racks of Aztar

    $0.50 = 100
    $1 = 100
    $25 = 200
    $100 = 100

I don't have a good guess on the Twains but I think I can give you a reasonable estimate for the Aztars.

-The fracs you don't see very often. I can't remember any at all actually for the last 4 or 5 years. But the PCA fracs are a pretty good comparison. I'd say $1.75 to $2 / chip.

-The $1s are really, really sweet chips. I have 220 near-mint. At least $1.50 / chip, possible $1.75 and I wouldn't be surprised if you got $2 from someone that really wants them.

-If you had mint Aztar $5's they would be worth something in the same way that a movie star's toenail clippings are worth something.

-The $25's always seems undervalued to me. Nice looking chips but when I went to sell mine I think I got $85 for a rack. Still mint ones should be worth $1.25 / chip I would think.

-The hundo's are perhaps my favorite chip. Definitely nicer than the PCA $100s and they were going for $4 / chip to multiple buyers a few years ago. $3.50 / chip minimum and I think they are actually worth $5.

That's alot of $$$ but my advice is only 2 cents.

Thanks for the info ... this is helpful. I think I'm gonna keep the Twains but move some of my odd Aztar stacks. Yeah, Aztar $5's were never the cream of the crop hence why i didn't pick them up and the $25's i agree with you, they aren't really loved. Its the neon green which throws people, i assume. But they are great chips and nothing beats Casino Paulsons esp the minty kind. I will post on eBay in the next few days ... see if i can get a real market value.

I'm in pretty close agreement with fish on the mint secondary Aztar prices/values.

The 50c chips are pretty scarce..... I'd be very surprised if those were not snatched up at $200/rack.

$1 chips are highly desirable, and typically go for between $150-$200 per rack.

No comment on the ugly stepchildren $5 chips, none of which were mint afaik.

$25 chips, though reasonably popular, seem to be in higher supply than most of the other secondaries, leading towards lower demand and prices. The last chip room sales were at around $75/rack, and they typically sell now for around $100/rack, occasionally a little higher.

$100 chips were selling for less than $200/rack two years ago, but rarely surface for sale at all. The most recent sales were listed at $400/rack (which I thought was high), and they did eventually sell at that price.... but certainly not snap-fast. I'd value them at around $300-$350 per rack for brisk sales.

No idea either on the Twains..... they came on market before my full-bore chip obsession, so I have no history on pricing or quantities. But in general, most RHC chips will bring lesser prices than comparable THC chips.

His .50 Aztars aren't mint so you are probably high on the price of those.

Let me know if you decide to sell some of the Twain's, I don't have any of the hundos. My set came from JM a couple years ago. I think it was around $1 per.
