well....that got ugly in a hurry. I haven't wavered in my support of Joe of PGI in this process, and I am not about to start now. Patiently waiting the shipping invoice, and the chips. Not sure why anyone would try and anger the guy at the point on this thing, but some folks gonna poke the bear.

Did we just go from a very joyous ( maybe mushroom?) "HIGH" to a very dramatic LOW in like just the span of a few minutes today? And I don't mean Joe personally, but us as a CT group?
First JM sends lightening bolt across TenPercenter's bow, and now this...
Let's hope this is a reactionary spat that maybe Tttubby can recover from as well as Greg did.

Please don't be upset on chiptalk and it's entire community. There's for sure tons of lessons learned.

Maybe in this regards to agree on any designer fees in the beginning.

Btw, thanks, just received my invoice and paid. Looking forward to see them on the felt and play with them.

Can't say as I blame ya Joe. Dang Tub - one design don't make a career, especially a tribute design.

my partners feel -and I will repeat what they said verbatim- that "whoever this Erik guy is is a greedy bastard"... and " we're done with this" Honestly- asking for 1.00 kickback on a 3.00 dealer button is what did it Erik- it set everyone off here who have busted their ass to make this all happen- and made us all feel like shit here at PGI. If we didnt step up to the plate on this GB you would NOT be receiving 8500.00 + or whatever it is-for your design- we wanted to do an inexpensive dealer button for the GB and you wanting 1.00 basically told us what kind of person you are.

It's neat to see business negotiations unfold in public. It's like our own private CT reality show.

Joe, Maybe not everyone here knows it, but im sure the ones that do are really appreciative of all your hard work and dedication for this GB. It may have happened without you, but could of never happened this smoothly and easily. I cant speak for everyone, but i saying thank you personally. You do more for this forum than most people even know, and if they knew what kind of Business you ran, the fact that you are willing to deal with this TINY market. Makes you a great guy in my books.

    THanks again for everything Joe

Nothing like choking the goose that laid the golden egg.

$8500 is a pretty sizable fee, congrats. But, you could have gotten more maybe even another set built on your mold since the plates were already made.

Being an outsider to the whole conversation I would like to stay neutral. Sorry for the earlier comment.

What was wrong with the same deal on the dealer buttons? A design is a design, in my own opinion. the fee should be the same no? $0.03 /chip? By the sounds of it, it definitely sounds like a major miscommunication.. i hope it all works out.. and tubbby, i HIGHLY doubt ANYONE would stoop that low and not honor a sale of a chipset over other issues..

Probably 2xMFRB, which alone are around $43 US each. And someone needs to pack them. It's in the right ballpark.

Unfortunately, it's a "benefit" of living in Canada.

As someone who has contributed absolutely nothing to this group buy, yet stands to benefit from the initiative, cooperation, and substantial work of other folks here, I'd just like to say THANK YOU to all of you, whoever and wherever you may be.

I can't wait to find these chips on my doorstep soon, and I would like to add for the record that I would be more than happy to pay a little extra $$$ to still make the CPS dealer buttons, trays, and cards become a reality. Whatever it takes... pleeeeeeeeeeease! Stay together for the chips! :)
