These be the oldest day cruise chips i got.
The SS Rex chips were made in 1938
The SS Tango chips were made in 1936
Both boats were owned by Anthony Conero who also later owned the SS Rex at the Apache Hotel(where Binion's is now) He also started the Stardust but died before it opened. Before the SS Rex and SS Tango, he owned a casino in Vegas called The Meadows. This is just a few things about him, theres a bunch more history associated with Mr Conero.
I consider these day cruise chips. The boats, like some Florida day cruises, was anchored 3 miles off shore and they brought people to the boat in speed boats. The boats were off shore from Santa Monica California.
There is known $5, $10(the hard one to find in this set), and $50 in the Rex series and a no-denom(assumed to be a $5), $50, and $100 on the Tango. I dont collect anything over $25 so im not looking to add the $50s and $100 to my collection. I do have the SS Rex $5 on the way to me :)
    enjoy the chips:)

Not bad looking chips for being 70+ years old.
