What does everyone use to hold the money for their home games? I currently just have the wad sitting under my notebook that keeps track of the buy-in's etc. but I don't like the idea of having the money in the open. I was thinking about going to the local cigar shop and grabbing a cigar box. Just looking for cool ideas.

my pocket ... as host and runner I take responsibility for it therefore I keep it on me and make sure it is never wrong. Not very glamorous but it has also never failed me.

Mine is in a neoprene pencil pouch that I just tuck into the birdcage. Nothing fancy. A box would be cooler but the only small end table in my poker (err... dining) room is covered in liquor bottles. We play $0.25/0.25 so I throw all my quarters in there too when I get them. Turns them into bigger bills eventually.

Mine is a different material, but just something like this:

I use a bank deposit/utility zipper bag like this: link

I order the bills as I receive them: $20, $10, $5, $1. $100's get folded in half and go to the back of the pouch.

Unfortunately, there is not enough room in my pocket for the night's stash.

I have a room with a window (cashier window) next to the poker room, it has a door with a bell on the inside handle.

I keep the cash and chips in a cabinet under the window in a metal box.

In a 300 ct poker chip brief case where I keep all the re-buy chips. Put the cash in, take the re-buy chips out.

If it's a big game, wear cargo pants. Works for me...

In the 500 chip briefcase that sits on a side table next to my seat. Money in - rebuys out. That is only if one table. If there are multi tables I have a locking cash box with a slot so I don't have to keep my eyes on it.

I use a cash drawer like you might at office depot etc.

If I kept it on my person, it would be quite a pocket full of money - maybe a fanny pack?

I use to use the 1 on the right, but now a friend bought me the 1 on the left when she was worried about me being too trusting when I left the room.

I thought about mounting it to my chip cabinet, but I like it to be mobile. Plus I have two cameras in the room, that should be enough to deter sticky fingers.

No one is allowed to touch the bank or the bank's chips; they are required to buy off the table when I'm not in the room.

I paid $99 for a cash register at Staples. Works perfectly.
