Does anyone know what the chip looks like or if a scan of the chip can be found. Scans can be found of th 25, 100, 500 and 1000. Just doing a ASM MGM inspired mock up and was curious about the $5000.

    That's cool, I hadn't seen it before.

I don't know if it's mostly the inlay design or more the color combos that catch my eye, but whoever came up with MGM's entire (current or close-to-current) rack did an amazing job. If I went for a playable casino set it would have to be MGM (well, or maybe the original Bellagio rack).

    Purty chips! :)

The pic by Lucky Bee is the only one that I've seen.

I think the best way to mock it up (or dupe it) from ASM would be:
Chocolate w. 4D14 Orange and Yellow.

If you ever go the the Grand, cosy up to a craps table to rail for a little bit. You'll see probably something like 800k+ stacked up in the middle waiting for a high(er) roller.

I watched for a bit last time I was there to try to figure out how that game is played but was too distracted by all the MGM chip happiness on the table, including all the $5k's (and the $1k's and the 500's and the hundos and all the pretty $25s, and the $5 and even $1s...).

During busy weekends you can find one table with a stack of 25k chips. They are soooo pretty all stacked up. They keep that stack real close to the pit boss. I try not to sit and stare for too long. When the pit boss starts giving me funny looks, I know it's time to move on.

Click on the link below & scroll down a bit. You'll see a scan of the chip.
