There has been quite a bit of interest in a $25,000 Pharaoh's Club chip. We will keep it the same size as the rest of the line.

If you are interested, post here. Let us know what you would like to see as far as colors and an image for this new denomination.

I started a thread about this a while ago and put together some mockups of spot combos when I did.

A few people thought that we should follow the colors chosen for the original pharaoh 25000 plaque, but I'm really not much of a fan of the brown/tans color scheme of that particular check.

I really like the radiant red chip above.

I feel pretty strongly that the 25K chip should match the J5-designed 25K plaque, both inlay design and colors. This approached worked wonderfully with the 5K chip, and should be repeated imho.

Yeah and hear I think the 5k chip is kind of boring. But that's more a matter of opinion I guess. I'll go with whatever people agree to. I'm just glad this might happen.

Make it pink or red. And make sure the picture has an Egyptian theme. :)

I also really like the radiant red chip. I have a few of the $25K plaques and although I do like them, they could stand to be a better color. Regardless of whatever color is chosen, I'd definitely buy 20-40 of the $25K chips.

We just don't play nearly enough cash games for me to justify getting these (and 25¢, 5¢, $1) to make separate sets. I'm increasingly realising the irrelevance of that objection the longer I hang round here. :/ FWIW, the 5k chip is my least favourite of the ones I own; it's a kind of bland colour that doesn't really hang with the others imo. I'd like a pink 25k best.

Is it worth doing a $20 chip at the same time? So people can have them for cash and $25s for tourny sets.

    I like the 9th chip.
The grey one with the red/white/black edgespots.
The edgespot colours are the same as the egyptian flag (coincidence ?)

    Something like this?

The spots should have the colours like the 1K and 5K chips.

The red chip is too close to the existing $5. But this all premature as J5 will likely be working on this for Ten.

The radient red chip would be the reddish edgespot color on the $25 rather than the maroonish color on the $5. And at any rate, when is a $5 chip ever going to be in the same game as a $25K chip?

Not unless the $5s are used for tips like in high stakes poker, otherwise those two chips should never ever ever be on the table at the same time!

BTW, if you're mocking up $25K chips, you really should do so alongside the existing $5k and $1K rather than just as a standalone chip. That was the entire problem with the t-mold semi-custom set. Everyone voted on a single standalone chip that looked good by itself without taking into consideration at all how it would look with the others in the set.

great point... I'll get around to doing that eventually, but at the moment I don't have time to mess around with chip factory. Anybody feel like mocking up the Pharaoh progression with the radient red chip?

The $5 chips and $25K chips (well, plaques right now) are used together in every tournament I run. The $5 chips are used as bounty chips, worth $5 cash money.

Also need to take into consideration what colors (for both base and spots) are actually available from the china clay manufacturer.

But IMO, that's not a reasonable use that should be accomodated in designing a CT chip set.

In addition to dedicated bounty chips, you could, for example, use any $5 chip from any other set as your bounty chip.

I'm afraid I must disagree; I think it's pretty reasonable indeed to use a matching $5 chip for a bounty chip. If there were $10 Pharaoh's, I'd use them too. Why on earth would I voluntarily choose to use a non-matching chip when there are matching ones available?

But in any case, I never said anything about 'accomodating' my usage of the $5 chip. I merely answered the question of "when would it ever happen?". And in my case, at least, it happens every time the set gets used.

Ok, here is a group mockup with a couple of the different versions that I mocked up in chipfactory ages ago.
