I went with these 2 tonight. Can’t recommend either of them. The Founders Sumatra Mountain tasted more peppery than coffee. The Sweet Baby Jesus was just ok. I think I get lured into most peanut butter porters and usually end up disapponted with them.

I don't care for the Sumatra Mountain either. Of course I'm not a huge porter fan to begin with

I love beer too. After “Dry January”, I was particularly thirsty this evening. Went to a brand new brewery in a tiny little town in the mountains. It was only their second batch of beer since opening. Micro, no doubt!

I don’t know if it was just because it was my first beer in 32 days...but it was fucking fantastic!

    Mule and Elk Brewing
    Cle Elum, WA
    Warrior 2.0 (IPA)
Thumbs up! Filled up the growler to go too.

I like stouts and porters mostly. I've never been able to enjoy those bitter IPAs.

I love the sweet baby Jesus. Only had it draft before though, never from a bottle, i wonder if it loses something.

I think I may have had it at a way too cold temperature. I'll try it again tomorrow after leaving it out for a half hour or so.

I love beer and just starting into bourbon. Stouts and porters and really love the New England style IPA’s. Their a lot more balanced and not as pine tar tasting. CB5EE5D1-8B4F-4D28-B2C7-C7E2836715AA.jpeg
