I have been trying to figure out a way to clean these chips for awhile now

I have BCC Grand Island Hotel & Casino Chips

I just cleaned 10 of my 25's they are Black I just used a soft toothbrush and my hands to rub the dirt off

once I cleaned them and dried them they came out looking very dull I know oiling will make them look better but I hate the feel of the chips after they have been oiled and I use very minimal oil the least u can use and they still feel slimy

    can anyone help me ???

To clean my BCC chips I like to use Dawn dishwashing detergent, warm water, and a soft electric toothbrush. Rinse well, dry with a towel, and air dry for 24 yours, flipping the chips at the halfway point. Mine have not needed oil after cleaning. In fact, I oiled some of my BCC chips when new, didn't like how they felt, and used this method to wash off the oil. The colors will brighten with handling.

If your chips are new and chalky, you can wipe off the factory dust with a damp towel. Air dry them thoroughly before racking them.

that method seems pretty good Abby I just did 10 chips I think I might have to clean them with the dawn then rinse good with just plain water cause they felt soapy I just wish there was an easier way lol someone needs to invent something

Cleaning chips by hand is a labor of love. Definitely rinse them well. You only need to pat them dry before allowing them to air dry. I'm happy to hear this is working for you.

I use Palmolive free. This dishwashing detergent doesn't have perfumes or dyes in it. I bought it because I have sensitive skin and figured if I am going to have my hands in it for an hour at a time, I better get the most gentle stuff. That being said, when my chips were dried I didn't notice any dulling or chalkiness to them. I was all prepared to oil them, just didn't see the need.

Yes ultrasonic cleaning has been done. Use the search function to locate the thread. It works well from what the lengthy thread says that exists here.
