I remember when I first learned how to shuffle, I practiced with 8 chips. Then I moved up to 10, then 12, now I shuffle at least 16 chips and often 20. It doesn't feel right having less than two stacks of 8. Plus its a way for me to play with more chips! I am also a shuffling addict: I would shuffle while watching TV if my wife weren't home! I already shuffle while I drive!

    How many do ya'll shuffle?

yeah, chips are basically outlawed from the tv area. i shuffle up to 26, although it's a stretch. 24 is comfy for me, and 20 is standard.

22 at max without problems, it's just a bit uncomfortable.
So normally I shuffle 16-20 chips.

:) You got to give it to the family, the noice could be quiet anoying I am sure.

How ever, when the cat is gone the mouses dance on the table (or in this case chips)

I like to shuffle 7 (14) but usually do it with 10 due to the full stack of 20.

I'm clearly an amateur, with only 8 chips being shuffled on my desk.

Alright, now that's a new one! I've heard of text messaging, putting on makeup, eating, even shaving while driving (and, of course, talking on cell), but never shuffling chips. Please elaborate on your technique!!:)

Depends onthe chips, my new NY'ers...20 is easy. BC's...if they're new, they're very chalky and don't shuffle easily so maybe just 16.

Definitely like the NY'ers though...smooth as silk...real casino paulsons...nuttin' bettah.

I can do 20+, but I prefer to shuffle 10 so I can play other games with them between shuffles and not have them get in the way if the stacks are too big.

I mostly shuffle between 10 and 16 chips. Everytime when i am at my desk or watching TV i start shuffling nearly automatically. When i get a sample set, i like to shuffle it a lot to see how the chips feel in a well used condition.

I usually grab a stack (20) and go to town.

I too shuffle while I drive...on my right leg...usually 12 or 14 total chips. I just have to make sure there's nothing in my right pochet cuz it'll get in the way.

My Desert Sands I can shuffle 18 no problem. But for some reason 20 is a complete disaster.

I have to have something in my hand while I play online. Usually there is a small stack on my desk. Right now it is 3 Protege NCV's for chip flips and drop spins.

The older and more used the better. The new sharp chips catch for me.
10 to 16 chips in a stack for shuffling. Can't do a stack of twenty well.
    Who's ambidextrous in shuffling?
I can do more with my left hand and I'm right handed...?

I use a mouse pad now, and place it on the passenger seat. I use a mouse pad now because my seat was turning black from the chips/oil.

And Harlequin, 38 chips???? You must have hands like an Alien Face-hugger!

It was only three times and I was moonlighting it as a dealer in our "mock casino" at D&B. When I paid a double down I would shuffle the chips together and then pay out.

Towards the end of one night I paid out a ten chip stack. He asked if I could shuffle it. Which I did and he let it ride. I busted on the hand and he asked if I could do it again. I tried a few times and I kept losing it at the bottom. We took 1 off the top of each stack and I did it 3 times in a row.

I don't know if I could do it again... I'll try tonight.

BW: Says I have the hands of a frat boy.
