Darn! I mean W00t! No, I mean Darn! Just got back from Hammond and didn't see the $10's. Well, now I know where I'm going tomorrow.

The $2 chip is gold with spots of white and what I think is peach. Here's a better picture:

All the house chips are the same on both sides. The two sides of the 08-08-08 chip are shown in this photo.

Someone PLEASE find a way to make this casino have to retire their entire rack.

If I had to pick a single chip as a favorite, it would be the snapper.

I wish I could get a photo of the orange 43-mm $1,000 chip to post here. Absolutely stunning! They also have a gray 43-mm $5,000 chip. Stacks and stacks of both high-denom chips were on a reserved craps table with lots of suits standing guard. Whoever was coming to play had not yet arrived, and unfortunately I wasn't able to stick around to watch the action.)

Abby, I think all of them shout, 'I look great in megastacks in front of you.'
All except for the $5, which looks frankly bleh.
But if I had staks of 5's in front of me, I'd be happy anyway.

WOW! That would have been sweet to see.

I like the $10 best in the rack.

The $5 seems way out of place. Do they have any standard house $5 chips? I am assuming that the $5 that doesn't have the 08/08/08 shown is the obverse of the two others shown is that correct? Or is the five with the funky blue background the house $5 (if so they really puked that one up eh?)?

The $5 with the blue inlay is their standard house chip, with the same inlay on both sides. Definitely the weakest link of the rack, IMO. I'm not all that crazy about the inlay on the $1, either; these two designs don't really go with the rest of the rack. However, both denoms have grown on me after several sessions in the Poker Room. They look particularly nice in tall stacks or in big pots -- you get the idea.

The black inlays on the red chip are the front and back of the LE 08-08-08 chip that was issued for the grand opening of the new (renovated) casino. Because the edge spots are the same as on the house chip, you can't tell them apart when stacked. There are still quite a few 08-08-08 chips on the tables, but not as many as a couple of weeks ago. I imagine that a lot of them are walking out the door, as nature intended. The glossy black inlay shows scuff marks quickly; these won't look very good after another month or two of play. For home game use, I'd definitely go with the house chip.

I hope they don't use the $2 and the $10 at the same time. The base colors are just too close.

If anyone is going to pick any of these up please grab 1 of each for me. I just started my sample set of these with a 1, a 2.5 and both 5's. A 2 and 10 would be an great addition! Please.. anyone let me know if you have any extras. Thanks!

I think the house $5 is my favorite. But I'm resisting the temptation to ask Abby to grab one for me, cuz if I did that, I'd have to get the $2 and $2.50 to complete my $5-and-under set, and who needs that?

I do, that's who. I have no willpower. sigh

Well, it just so happens that I do have a few extras of everything $10 and under. LMK. Not that I'm trying to enable your addiction or anything like that.

IMO it's a nice looking chip but it doesn't relate well to the rest of the set.
